I build systems that create real value for the people using them. And I care more about whether it holds up under real load than about how clever the code looks.
What drives me: understanding what the client actually needs to scale into, designing the system to get them there, and closing the gaps before they become the client's problem. The best architectures I've built started as a client's growing pains, not a spec.
Today I'm a Senior Software Engineer at CloudPark, a hardware-enabled SaaS platform for parking management running across 850+ sites in Brazil, promoted from mid-level in half the company's average time. I re-architected the core data service onto serverless infrastructure, cutting compute costs by 94% while migrating 5M+ records with zero data loss. I also architected the company's official Linux distribution, now shipped on every device, cutting configuration errors by 85% and deployment time by 80%, and led the i18n and multi-currency rollout that unlocked 5 international enterprise clients and took the platform to 850+ customers. Before that, I built greenfield clinical microservices for cardiac monitoring at Philips, serving European hospital networks.
Most of my work sits at the intersection of backend engineering and infrastructure security: designing systems, hardening them, and making sure they scale without breaking the bank.
Day-to-day stack: Go, Python, TypeScript, AWS, Linux. Outside of client work, I built Ecclesiam, a free, non-profit app that helps Catholics find nearby parishes and Mass times (Django/GeoDjango, PostGIS).
EU work authorization via Luxembourg, open to remote roles across North America and Europe.
